The eyes are the windows of the soul, and
reveal so much about the mood of the moment. At a deeper level the eye reveals
the blueprint of the 'inner world' of the person - the inherited strengths and
weaknesses passed down to us from our ancestors and the acquired patterns of
health and disease that make us truly unique.
What does the Iridologist
do?
The Iridologist studies the structure, and patterning of the
eye paying particular attention to the coloured part of the eye, the iris. The
aim of Iridology is to assist the individual to make sound health choices on
the basis of the unique information about their health potential that the eye
reveals. There are no judgements in this process. So often it is what someone
does with what they have inherited or acquired that matters. The iris provides
sign posts that indicate possible pathways towards ill health and likewise
signposts to health. In this way the Iridologist will be able to recommend a
suitable treatment and facilitate preventative treatment.
What can Iridology
do?
At the Haven Healing and Therapy Centre Iridology is used by
Fiona Fidler, (The Founder), as a positive tool which can reveal this health
potential, to show ways in which negative influences can be reversed or
modified for the good. With the client's consent Iridology may often be used as
part of a guidance session to assist in the process of deciding what the most
effective course of action is for an individual.
Iridology may also be
used alone or combined with other forms of therapy for example Aromatherapy or
Cranio-sacral therapy in order to provide a general overview of a person's
health potential and get to the 'nub' of a problem quickly. It is non-invasive
and simply involves the use of a magnifying torch to look into the eyes, the
information is discussed fully and openly with the client 'the iris is like an
airport - a good place from which to take off' (Bill Carodonna, President,
National Iridology Research Association Seattle).
